Shanghai Tower

Shanghai Tower
Shanghai Tower (51 Lujiazui Road West, Pudong, Shanghai) — Shanghai Tower is a 632-meter (125 story) supertall skyscraper designed by Gensler, a leading global architectural design firm. Shanghai Tower anchors one of East Asia’s leading financial centers: the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone. The 632-meter-tall, mixed-use building completes the city’s super high-rise precinct. It is the most forward-looking of the three towers symbolizing Shanghai’s past, present, and future (the other two being Jin Mao Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center). It is currently the second-tallest building in the world (surpassed only by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai). This tower will open soon, so visitors are advised to check its website for an official opening, and tourist information: www.shanghaitower.com.cn
